How change textures (Or add a texture) of dae model without maya?

Sad, but in this video doesn't saying about adding texture
I know how change texture
But i don't really know how add a new texture(for example a leaves for "naked" tree)

Adding leaves to a leaf-less tree? That would require editing the model. You can't add more compounds to a model by just editing the texture of what's already there.
