Hello,

I bought the game in Humble and everything works fine but when I exit game, the screen freezes and nothing happens until I restart my computer. Also, every change in options is ignored when I play the game again.

Is possible to solve that?

Thank's you!
The settings aren't saved until. The game successfully quits. So that is why you aren't seeing the changed settings. Can you provide more details on your system? As well as attach the hpl.log that is located in your ~/.frictionalgames/Penumbra/Overture

You can copy the default_settings.cfg file located in the game install's config directory to the above listed directory, except renamed to settings.cfg and edit the settings manually.

I use Ubuntu 9.10. My graphic card is Nvidia GeForce FX 5500 and I have 512 MB of RAM.

I couldn't attach the hpl.log file because it's to large. I upload it in my own server:

Ok, thank's for this point!
Can you try following the steps documented in http://support.frictionalgames.com/entry/64/ specifically the entry about using your system's openal library. As it looks like you are running into an audio issue as the log should NOT have that many warning when playing sounds.

Hello, I saw that I've installated libogg and libvorbis, but I couldn't find and openal-soft and alsa-plugins-pulseaudio in Synaptic.

From where I have to download it? Thank's you.
You distribution should have at least openal (it maynot be "labeled" openal-soft, and just openal)
Search around the forums for other Ubuntu 9.10 users as they have had to do similar things.
