Full Version: Overture: Crash when activating artifact in level01_05_office.dae

Penumbra Overture crashs when activating the artifact in the office room. When activating it, the "light" effect shows until the screen is totally white, then it crashes. Console output:

Also try running
ulimit -c unlimited
And re-running Penumbra and try and recreate the error
then submit the generated core file or stack trace

Any chance you are running the game with german subtitles?
Yes, I'm running with german subtitles, but what has it to do with the crash?
Using another language than English is unsupported, so it is on a if it works it works if it doesn't it doesn't basis. You can try this thread tip http://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thr...l#pid25070 and see if that helps!
Thanks, it helped, though I had to start a new game.

I'd appreciate if this can be fixed in the engine.
