Hey, I want to tell FG my opinion about what the next horror game should be like:

Well, for the next game, I want you guys to add a bit of realism in it, so you can see your right or left hand, and your feet, and a bit of body too. And when you lean, with the hand that it's empty you could place it on the wall you are leaning. Another thing, when you open a door you can see your hand pulling the door.

These are just my opinions.
I wait criticism from others. ( >_> )

So you wouldn't be able to lean unless there was a wall?

I don't know. Graphical updates are nifty, but they're not really top priorities. None of these things really have anything to do with horror.
This subject was actually discussed few years back.
Thomas shared his thought on this, but I cannot remember what he said.
OK, then do me a favor and delete it. >_>

I didn't said anything about graphics, I said "realism", realism doesn't mean only graphics, the gameplay I mean. So it could be more realist. But since Scraper said that this is an old subject, I want him to delete this topic.
No need to.
It's an ancient artifact in the library of Frictional Games' forum which no one else won't probably even remember. Big Grin
Well.. okay >.<
I agree this would be really immersive. Something like in Mirror's Edge when you're up against a wall and you put your hands on it. First, though (behind all of the gameplay, which of course is more important), should be correction for lighting on particle effects such as smoke or fog, like in Crysis.
i dont think that would be really needed. im more about the things around u like noises, fog, and lighting

None of your examples had anything to do with gameplay. They were all graphical examples (something you can see).
