When I first purchased amnesia about 4 years ago I absolutely loved it however, for the past couple of months I have been having a major issue with it. When in game, my character looks up and spins without any mouse or keyboard interaction. I can move but the spinning wont stop. I have tried uninstalling the game, deleting/upgrading my mouse drivers and uninstalling any programs that may interfere with the game on my computer but none solved the issue. Anyone know how to fix this?
This should be fixed like so:

Find Amnesia.exe in your install folder, right click, select Properties, then go to Compatibility and check the box "Disable display scaling for high DPI settings." Try that.

This unfortunately didn't work either.
Make sure you don't have any controllers plugged in, the small Wii usb included. Remove everything and try with a bare mouse.

No controllers are plugged in.

Just to give you guys an idea of whats happening, I uploaded a 30 second clip here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pV_Z68PF3OA
It could be a driver issue with either your mouse or if you've had controllers plugged in before. I think Wii controllers are known to cause issues.

Otherwise you can also try to go back to the .exe and choose "Compatibility mode: Windows 7" though I was never sure if this actually helped anything with this issue.

After looking through the drivers again, I did find an old controller driver that I had used for an emulator, uninstalling it worked!
