I've been trying to configure my graphics card for an optimal experience on Amnesia. Is there a faq for tweaking settings for slower cards? I know it can be subjective, but I'd like to find the best compromise between details and frame rate. Is there an FPS counter hidden in the game somewhere, or some way to quantify framerates?

Nvidia 7600GT:
1360x768 surprisingly fast framerate, but black bars on widescreen lcd
texture quality high
bilinear anisotropy2x
parallax (what is this?)
shadows low/low
SSAO off

The resolution seems to have a big impact, and lower is not always faster!

So once you have your graphics tweaked to your liking, let us know your card and you settings. That way we'll spend more time playing than tweaking .

Yes, but you have to turn on the in-game debug menu first. To do that, in your main_settings.cfg file change LoadDebugMenu="false" to true. Then start the game and press F1 to show/hide the debug menu. You can turn on FPS display on the menu.
