You find the big mushroom in the large church room. (the one with pillars and bridges, and redish lights). It is just in front of a door, slightly on the right.

i haven't found the bone saw or whatever it is but im am wondering how do i purify the blood ? i have all the orb pieces and all the ingredients but i need the blood sorting out.

I missed the bonesaw and am already back in the prison....can I not finish this quest now?
you can finish quest after escaped from prison.
The "thing from the plant" is found in the choir (red misty big room)
The blood is in one of the torture chambers
The meat becomes the bone
To get them however, I will leave to you.

In the room where you get the bonesaw there's a litte drain you can open, just follow the blood trail on the floor. Haven't tried it tho as i got it earlier. Worst case do a reload from a previous auto save.
Where do you get the mucus or w/e you have to use the bonesaw on?
Edit: figured it out. You have to use the meat on the rope hanging above the well.
