Hello there, i've been trying to properly run Amensia with various combinations of graphic settings but nothing seems to work..
I have a RADEON X850 XT and generaly i have the means to run the game properly.
It seems it runs well until the menu, but when i start the game all i see is a black screen, and i can hear a voice saying that he's daniel and some other stuf.. At first I thought its how the game starts, but when the voice stopped talking and the black screen remained there and nothing happened i knew there was something wrong. Also i noticed that the subtitles are out of sync.. When that daniel guy talked the subs would appear like 7-8 seconds late.
Is there any workaround for this? As bout catalyst drivers, X850 have been moved to the legacy support structure, that means i cant update to 10.2 , like many other people having problems here
Go here and download the compatibility test.

If you encounter any problems in the test then just use winzip/winrar to compress the output folder the test generates , then post your problem in that link (attach the output folder with your post). The devs will take a look at it.
It's an ATI X-series driver issue I'm afraid.

The ATI drivers have trouble with the OpenGL features used in Amnesia. If you disable ImageTrail in the Post Processing Effects options you'll be able to play the game with all but a few caveats: you won't be able to bring up the main menu, inventory, mementos or journal screen as it will cause the game to pretty much lock up and the logos and loading graphics will still tessellate. It's a pain because it so nearly works but Thomas will hopefully be looking into the problem next week.
