In WithoutPixel, we tried to not spread the word about our projects too early, but this is an exception. This ambitious project made it really far and has some innovative features that I'd like to share with you all.

The story itself is very important to us, so we're not going to share it with you. Just bare in mind, that there's no keys hidden on top of beds or take key > get chased scenes. Everything in our mod has its reason for being the way it is.

Let's get to the fun part now.
The latest and greatest feature is our Custom Launcher. The mod is going to be Full Conversion and using our Launcher, there's much more, than just the base game.

The launcher is interconnected with your Amnesia Save folder in your documents as well as our mod's variables. This allows us to pull your statistics from the saved games and display it. There is also a number of challenges that we included with the mod. After finishing the game, you will be able to try it.
In the next update, we'd like to come up with a scoring system. You will be able to view the score of every user you have created in When I am no more in a leaderboards and if you're connected to the internet, you will be able to compete world-wide.

It might be too early to ask but:

Do you have a release date yet?
I do not, but I think it's safe to assume it's going to be out this year.
How does the launcher thing work? Like, how did you manage to make it able to detect how many times player has died, etc.
Through HPS I feed the map file otherwise useless information, that is, however, detected and stored by the Save feature.

The launcher reads your save files and can interprete this information.
Holy crap this looks interesting.

I'm so jealous that you can use NPCs. It's a feature that would add plenty to all Amnesia mods, as lack of dialogue often reststrains storytelling. Altough I have seen some very creative stuff when people wanted to add it.

Anyway, I'm excited Big Grin
