Yeah so I'm wondering how to make it so the character can climb the ladder?
I can't seem to even grab the ladder or anything.

I believe it's done with an area_ladder in the editor for starters.

It's pretty simple. Create an Area (8) and choose Ladder. Make the area as high as your ladder is and place it in front of the ladder.
You might have to rotate the area a bit, but you will see that when you test it.

Alright I can see the ladder symbol when I look at the ladder, but I can't mount it and climb it?

That's why I said in front of the ladder.
The area must not touch the ladder or anything else, or it won't work.
