Registered just because this has been bugging me. You know how every now and then in an area with a piano, if you go a room or two over you might hear the piano playing as an ambient noise? Two of the three tunes are actually sort of interesting and nice. Does anyone know, or is there a way to find out what these songs actually are? I am hoping they are parts of full pieces and were not just snippets composed for the game. If you do not know what I am talking about, find your amnesia folder and search for "general_piano01.ogg". The other two should be with that.

Thanks to anyone that can help.

Edit: I recreated what I could hear of the song with consistent volume and less muffle, for the sake of convenience and added likeliness of someone actually recognizing it. Listen to it here.

I think I will if no one can recognize it. I would rather only PM if I have to, though. I imagine they have tons of similar questions in queue, and I would not want to burden. They might not know offhand or anything.
I have an enormous collection of classical music, and could pick it out. I am very sure one of the ambient sounds is a Beethoven sonata fragment. I just don't remember which one. I am about to fall asleep, so if nobody finds the pieces by morning, I'll try and list them here.

BTW a song is a piece of music with lyrics. So what you heard aren't songs. Wink

Never heard that law. What do you call when there aren't lyrics?
