Frictional Games Forum (read-only)

Played the beginning of the game with no problems, but when i went my game fps dropped to very low. I booted the game and tried to continue, but the game gave me somekind of error which said "amnesia.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION". I got past the problem by manually loading a save file and not using continue. However after loading the game theres shitloads of texts in the screen, and every object has these white lines whenever i point my cursor towards them. It seems like its some kind of a game mode meant for game developers, but i have no idea how to turn it off.

Please take screen (press F8 and check game install directory for image).

Also post hpl.log found in "My Documents/Amnesia/Main"

Have you been working with the editor?

Backup the .sav files in the folder for your user name. Then delete the Amnesia folder in My Documents. Start game, create a new user and then copy the save games into the created user name folder.
