I hope FG has the moneys to do another game. How are sales so far?
They've said sales were lower than expected a few weeks ago, although they clarified that they definitely have enough money to stay afloat. I doubt they can give any specific numbers.

I assume they have a few game ideas floating around (maybe an expansion/sequel to Amnesia, like Penumbra?), and hope they plan to start in on it soon.
That was prior to a very positive review from Zero Punctuation, which is high profile and hopefully garnered them a nice spike of interest/profit. They've started working on upgrading the engine, so here's hoping they have close to the tech they'd like for diving headfirst into fresh development.

Actually I have emailed them and they told me they have no plans to make Amnesia a series at all. So I suppose they will be making a new IP.
Will it be survival horror u think?
They are good @ such stuff, so, why, yes, of course it will be survival horror.

Amnesia's story and voiceacting/dialogs/monologues was the only flaws that drag it down from something really incredible in survival horror genre within latest 20 years of game industry. Personally, I think "Frics" needs to find a good published, get a good budget and make something really awesome.
I wonder if Frictional guys wanna make non-horror game using HPL engine and Penumbra/Amnesia technology.
They're already working on their next title, and no it's not a followup or expansion to Amnesia.

'Them'..hehe Zero Punctuation is one man, who does great video reviews of games, and bashes almost every game to pieces.
His good review for Amnesia is what made me look it up.
Frictional Games have written a blog post today, giving some interesting details concerning sales: http://frictionalgames.blogspot.com/2010...lease.html
