That's where I got some of the inspiration from, however the storyline of this and the revelations of what's going on will be completely different.

I also edited my first post to give away a bit less regarding enemies.
Unique idea for a mod! Tracking...
Sounds cool!
Very bad idea to advertise that there are no enemies, and players can't die. You basically gave all of the people playing it a 'free courage pass'. Now the sense of dread will be far less real, and just making everything spooky won't be able to make up for this.
Looking good Big Grin (I just wish you had not mentioned that there are no enemies.)
Scratches is my second favorite horror game. So, a Scratches-like setting using the Amnesia engine can't possibly be a bad thing!
Personally I think it was good to mention that there are no enemies. It means that players are better able to decide whether or not they are likely to want to play it, rather than just installing it and then feeling disappointed that there are no enemies.

Also, it means that those who like a good mystery and are happy to concentrate on this element rather than combat, will know to head straight for your custom story.

All sounds good to me and I'm looking forwards to being able to play it.

Thanks, that's basically it, I personally find psychological thrillers to be scarier than jumpscares, although enemies can work well, I personally don't enjoy adventure games with combat in (Amnesia and Penumbra being exceptions).
We want to make scares in the mod, but not those of a monster jumping out/killing the player, so the mod doesn't require stealth or timings.

Anyway hopefully I should have got the foyer/entrance hall finished this week so I will get a video of that uploaded at some time soon.
Sorry for the double post but I've finished an early version of the Foyer.

The music is also composed for the mod and it too is still early WIP.
Foyer looks great! I can never get enough mansions, and if there's a good mystery to solve, all the better!

Great work!
