when i attempted to start game the very first time, some window popped up, reporting a problem of some sort, with drop down selection boxes and what not, i think. i ignored and tried to start again. now the launcher stuff popped up, i selected other settings and such, getting same crash every time, the first timer window never showed again. I tried reinstaling the game, changing various game and system settings.
