Full Version: Lantern casting shadows?

Dunno if there is a topic about this already, sorry if so, but I really want to hear more about this.

While ago I discovered in some of the config files that there was a variable that, as it said, could make the lantern's light cast shadows. However, when enabling this feature, nothing seems to happen.

Now this I find rather confusing, if this is a script limit of some sort (I understood the shadow's were scripted sort of.) then what exactly is the purpose of this variable? Huh
Perhaps the shadows is not implemented and frics forgot to remove varible?

As I can see from the blog, the real shadows work started in HPL3.
