Frictional Games Forum (read-only)

I've followed the troubleshooting guide but I have not been able to resolve the issue I'm having. When I boot the game I get a jumbled loading screen and the game crashes once it finishes loading. I get this error message:[attachment=5973]

I've attached the hpl log for more information.

One (or more) script files seem to have corrupted on install. Have you tried a Steam File Integrity Check (Problem I)?

If it reports no errors, you can "force" the script files to be reinstalled by deleting the /script/ folder in SOMA's Steam folder. Following the first three steps of the integrity check page, instead then select "Browse Local Files". Then navigate to the script folder and delete it. Then perform Step 4 of the integrity check.
