The monsters... what are they? The servent grunt, if you look in the model editor or just sneak up on him, you'll see he has hair for the age of a old man. Did they used to be people or something? Or did Alexander make them himself?

Doesn't Alexander say at one point that 'he has to make more of them' or something along those lines?

I don't know. But in the torture nave, there are pictures of how they use the torture in the rooms. It looks like the enemies not so monster. Take a look at it.
