Not sure if this is shadow mapping, but i'm not familiar with all those technical terms.

Anyway, I got a weird problem with the shadow/lightning in the game.
When i walk around a room, the shadows flicker and change dramatically even though i only make a few movements.

This happens most noticeably with the lantern. When i got it up and move just an inch with the mouse, the shadows in the room suddenly block half my screen.

Uploading a movie to youtube currently where you can see what i'm talking about.

Turn off bloom and radial blur, also try other shadow qualities and resolutions...
Other people with older ATI cards have had this problem, myself included. There doesn't seem to be a fix at this point.

The flickering is always there in my game, but sometimes when I reload my save it varies in intensity. For example, sometimes I'm able to use the lantern and see rather well, other times I can't use it at all because it turns the screen black. Does the same happen for you, or is the amount of flickering consistent no matter what?
I've tried various settings but nothing seems to work.
I'm not sure if it's consistent or not, haven't really noticed that

As far as I know anything below the X1000 series cards are the ones getting these flickering problems. My own card is ~5 years old at this point and ridiculously outdated, so it's not surprising it's giving me problems.

already up to date with drivers

for me, 2 years is old. the technology is moving so rapidly. Sometimes it just feels unnecessary to update your computer within a 2year span :/ (atleast mine)
And i was this problem but i solved it :
Install New Windows
Install New Catalyst
Install Again Amnesia
For me it`s work ... Sorry for my bad English

Thank you for posting this, the possibility of a solution is exciting. Can anyone else confirm that this fixes the problem?

I'll keep playing with the flickering through the end of the game since this solution isn't practical for me right now, but if it works I'll probably try it later.
