Please help.
Played ATDD on one laptop and when reinstalled the game on a macbook and logged into the same account, there is no player profile
what to do
The profile is local only. If you want to have the same saves, you need to copy it over.
On Windows, it's in Documents\Amnesia
On Mac, it's in ~/Library/Application Support/Frictional Games/Amnesia

the game is running, saves has started. but control keys (WASD) don't work.
restart doesn't help, maybe the problem is in some file from the folder with saves?
Try rebinding them in the settings. Options > Input > Key Config > Set default keys
Then I don't think it's because of the profile. Could be some external program interfering with your game so that it doesn't capture your input.
