First off it's "paranoid"

And second - ok, well good then
I too would like a physical copy of Amnesia because I hate paying for stuff online, and I think there might be one in the near future. I went looking around for a copy of it at various stores and EB Games (Australia) have it on their system, just "none in stock" at the moment. ETA on new stock, they said, is about a fortnight. After the Penumbra games (except Requiem - check out my review in the Penumbra forum) Amnesia caught my attention, and after playing the demo I'm eager to try out the rest (I'll probably do a review on that too).

And whoever said that Frictional Games won't be able to publish physical copies of Amnesia because they're an independent developer, how'd I get the Penumbra Collection then?
I'm pretty sure they have boxed copies going around in Russia, etc.

BTW Are you THE Xanatos? The machinima guy?

The Penumbra games were published by Paradox Interactive, I think. When they screwed Frictional over, they went independent for developing Amnesia which is the reason there is no retail release and most likely never will be.

Actually Lexicon were the ones who screwed Frictional over with a scam Overture. I believe they just wanted to actually be classified as "true indie" or something.
Ah, so Penumbra Overture and Black Plague were published by different publisheres? Didn't know that, thanks!

No, I'm some other Xanatos in the guise of a psychopomp.
They should sell the box copies from their online store.
