Hello. I am experiencing problems when running the demo for Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Whenever I go to the profile screen, the demo freezes and I cannot move the mouse at all, and I am forced to close the demo with Task Manager. I recently updated my graphics card display driver and deleted the old versions of it with Driver Sweeper, but I still encounter this problem. Please help!

Tech Specs:

Model: HP Pavillion dv6500
Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 (32 Bit)
Graphic Card: NVIDIA GeForce 7150M/ nForce 630M
CPU: AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-58
RAM: 2GB

P.S. I've tried launching the demo once more before I submitted this report, and suddenly the demo crashed as soon as it started up (not at the profile screen) and gave me an error log which I've added to the attachments.

This is the first time I've ever had a problem like this with a game demo.
I dont know what could be wrong, but for a start try updating your .net version
Does device manager report any errors?
Device manager reports no errors, nor does updating my .net version help. This is really frustrating because I have tried everything and still, the demo freezes at the profile screen. Are there any other possible solutions?
I don't know, it has to me some sort of software incompatibility, other then .net im not sure what else a computer needs to run a graphic program/game engine
Strange, this is the first time I've had a game issue this big. Are you sure there's no other way of fixing this? Also, if I buy the full version of the game, would it have this problem too?
Please attach hpl.log found in My Documents/Amnesia
Please attach launcher.log found in My Documents/Amnesia

That seems to be your problem.

It would be best if Thomas answered this topic.

In the mean time, you can read this http://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thread-3740.html although I dont think it will be helpful.
So I'm assuming my system just doesn't have something to support this game?
