Frictional Games Forum (read-only)

Back when Amnesia first came out, I finished the game and attempted to make my own custom stories. After a few failed attempts to "set up a dev. environment", I uninstalled then reinstalled the game to reset the change in code I did to get the dev stuff working...



Every time I attempt to load the game it crashes instantly, with this error showing up. I've never had any problem like this before, and Amnesia worked perfectly the last time I played it. I've tried everything and there's no way around it so far, any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Your cfg files are messed up. When you uninstall, make sure all of the files are gone by looking at the folder, then reinstall. You also want to delete the Amnesia folder in your documents (this will kill your saved games)
