The first part reminds me of when I was trying to explaining it to some people I know.
However after showing them the trailer they're either like "Oh shit, a game thats actually scary" or "Fuck that shit, I'd be freaking out"

However I know one friend who played the demo in a room with the lights dimmed, and having his friends watch it. Now he boasts about how the game didn't scare him, even though the demo plays the least scary part of the game, and bitches about not being able to fight back.
A good example of what's wrong with my country.

It's sad that people dislike when their games have flavor enhancements in them.

No need to be ashamed, every country has its oddities. While the USA have a problem with sexual content, my country (Germany) has about the same problem with violence.

A few years ago, there was a game called "Giants - Citizen Kabuto" (does anyone remember?) which illustrated this phenomenon in a pretty entertaining manner. Big Grin

The game was a third person-shooter and featured a mermaid as a playable character. In the German version, the mermaid was topless, but the enemies' blood was green to make the fights seem less violent. The American version had red blood, but the mermaid had to wear a bra. Big Grin

Only players in the UK got to enjoy both the red blood *and* the topless mermaid. Lucky you! Wink
I think they shouldn't sensure the games. It's just stupid... the age rating is there for this purpose. There is no point in these censorship.

Absolutely! But try and explain that to a narrow-minded politician who has never played a computer game in his whole life. Wink

yeah..
Well, in my country the problem with games is that basically right now there is a law slowly advancing that tries to ban every game with violence. I mean, you can kill someone? this game will be banned. but they already tried without success, so i think it's going to fail again...

Another problem with games is the tributes.. it's 80% of the game price. (i mean, everything there has huge tributes anyway hehe)

yay... brazil

Just because others also fail, that's no reason not to aspire to higher things yourself.
