Full Version: game crashes at name entry screen?

I figured out that my laptop has the nvidia (or whatever) graphics card, and I updated the driver, and I did get it to work. It keeps crashing at the name entry sceen and gives me that access violation error. How do I fix this please?

I'm also downloading the patch as I type. Maybe that will help?
