I load up fine, it shows the introduction where you start the game, after that, poof, dead.

Pops up with this:

I also run as administrator, any other ideas? I also have the patch.

At such an error, it's important to post your system specifications.
I think, you have an Intel graphic card.

right?
The game does not work on Intel graphic cards.

Penumbra works on Intel graphics that are X3100 or better. If you have that, check Intel website for driver updates.
