I think it's brilliant to do it in this manner. It will leave people wanting more and I'm glad you guys are doing it this way. It was very successful for Half-life 2.

Cheers!
Jon
Should be good. It's going to kill me when i get to the end of EP1 and have to wait.

Actually out of interest do you have any plans on the frequency of releases? Is it about 1 a year or less?
We aim for one episode every 6th months. No promises though, but that is our aim.
Cool. Thanks for the fast reply. Hopefully you don't run into too many problems and development goes smoothly.
So far so good Wink

All earnings that we make from this episode will go into the making of the next as well. So the better we sell the better the following episode will be Smile

That said, we will make all three episodes no matter what!
"the better we sell the better the following episode will be"

Hint-Hint eh? Wink

If i had the money i'd buy a thousand.

I'm going to buy an internet copy to get it fast and later grab a box copy =)
if memory serves me correct has gaming done a full circle back to the days with episodes

but with out geting the first one for free Sad like with Doom and Wolfenstine and Commander Keen
If you buy a boxed copy jon you might get it faster than DD. I'm hoping to anyway.
Apart from the apparently great new Sam & Max series with a new episode per 1-2 months, Penumbra is the only other game I know to really use the concept of episodes in an appropriate way. 8 hours of gameplay for each episode, or even a little less, aren't far from the standard of modern action games, 20€ are in fact pretty cheap for that, and 6 months wait between each episode are also totally alright. Just about perfect, I'd say Smile
