Just curious to see what kind of music other editors are using to aid in the creative process.

Do you just listen to your normal music?
Do you listen to ambient or instrumental music?
Do you try to match the theme of your custom story?

Personally, I've been listening to Sleep's Dopesmoker.
Very dark atmosphere, and drawn out. I feel like it's going to play a big part in what I make.

I'm using a fan groups' music in my mod. Of course, they're ambient musics.
I prefer instrumental musics over songs.

I have been using both normal songs and ambient music, sometimes from Amnesia, other times from other games, whatever I am in the mood for, really.

Besides nothing because I'll be testing my map for ambiance and music cues.

I just listen to regular rock on pandora radio

Depends. I keep a playlist on GrooveShark with nice Polish folk music, but sometimes I like the Oblivion soundtrack, or if I'm feelin' it, Machinae Supremacy. :3
