I slowly open the door. I'm trying to clear my mind from all the noises around me.. I enter one of the rooms, carefully searcing for something useful..
Few tinderboxes and a jar of Orpiment. I guess i should leave this place?

I carefully make my way out of the Wine Cellar with all four chemicals in hand. The wood creaks under my feet, but I could swear it was coming from somewhere else. Nevertheless, I exit the Wine Cellar and breathe a sigh of relief.

Red organic slime appears again and I try to avoid it.
Of course I fail resulting in another wound.
I continue forward to...

I slam the laboratory door behind me hoping it would stave off the guardian, if only for a short while. Quickly making my way down the wooden staircase, the boards groaning beneath my feet, I catch sight of the chemical laboratory at the end of a narrow, dark hallway. Brandishing my lamp in front of my face, I creep towards the end of the hall, praying I would encounter nothing in the end.

I slowly, cautiously enter the room and notice a drainage grate at my feet. Out of curiosity sake, I toss a rock in. I hear ravenous splashing in return! Something is down there...

There's a Chemistry Pot on the table. I grab it, few tinderboxes and inspect the room a bit more.. I read a note about a powerful acid. It seems that the chemicals, together, can do this. I start mixing them together and as i finish, the place starts falling apart!

I carefully peer out of the room and see that the stairs have collapsed. Great. Now what? Looking around, I see some decent-sized pieces of wood. I throw one up against one of the supports of the platform above and climb it like a ladder. Finally, I can press onward.

I step back out into the entrance hall as the Shadow continues closing in, leaving more hellish slime among the floor, walls, and ceiling. Time to clear the way to the distillery! If I'm don't move quickly, I'm surely in trouble!

I reach the red slime blocking the path to the refinery. I pour the chemicals on the thing and it slowly dissolves. I start walking down the dark corridor, having flashes of conversation... "make sure not to stray"...

The darkness is so thick my lantern can barely cut through it, but I continue down the hallway into an open room with some wine barrels. Upon stepping in, I hear a low groaning sound. Dousing my lantern quickly, I see a shadowy figure walk by in front of me...
