Yes, I've played Riven. I've never personally beat it though, I never know where to go after I visit the school.

I've actually always wanted to try that game, but I've never seriously hunted for it. I don't want to get it on Virtual Console, since I don't have a "classic" controller and don't want to play the game with the Gamecube controller, so I guess I'll just have to do some hunting through my local flea market.

You seriously should finish it, though, it's worth it. While I'm not completely sure where you are in the game, as it can be completed in a few different ways, I still have two questions for you that if you answer, may help me to further guide/help you to completion:
Have you captured Ghen (in the 'one-man prison'), and rescued Catherine from
her prison?

I have no interest in playing any RPG that takes longer than 24 hours of continuous playing time to beat. Remember, I'm a CASUAL gamer.
Now about Riven... I've never beat it myself, but I've seen my brother beat it. I've seen the best ending, where Ghen is captured, Atrus is reunited with Catherine, the people of Riven are evacuated, and Riven is destroyed. That was always a great ending, but I still wonder, how is it physically possible for you to fall out of a planet through the ground? Is the world inside out?

I believe I also bought Riven. If I haven't, I definitely will.
Anyway, all of you who can run it need to play Cryostasis.
It's too buggy for my ATI card, but I've played it and definitely "must play".
Also Deus Ex is bad. It's like a good RPG except not because the world is boring and the enemies are dumber than bricks.
