Can anyone tell me how I get the big yellow mining machine started?

I've wired up the control box, stuck the key in and still no joy ?

Great game, really enjoying it.

Yes, it's in the same area as the key - in a room blocked off by steam pipes. You need to

Hi!

Did anyone else here had troubles powering up the control box?
It seems that i've encountered some rare strange bug - the damn plug just doesn't go into the socket! I'm holding it in my arm and pushing but it just doesn't go.

Am i missing some trick in here?
If someone could email me the savegame with the controls powered up - i would be very greateful for that!
(i've got the key and the canister by the way)

Gah, probably not - you don't even need to push, the plug automatically clicks into place if you get close enough. Maybe it's the wrong way round (I'm not sure if that makes any difference...) - have you tried using the other end? Or is it already plugged in?

Otherwise... you may need to load an old save

One end goes into the control panel. The other goes into the power source at the back of the room. Make sure you are doing these both, and with the correct ends.
