I had the "Renderer #0 Error" that so many people seem to have, so I spent an hour or two trying every combination of options I could think of in an attempt to launch the game.
I've just discovered that I can launch and play the game if I run it windowed, and at 800x600 or below. Anything higher gives me an immediate crash and error, but 720x480, for example, will run (albeit only at 1-5 FPS).
I've read a dozen threads on this error, both here and at Steam, and I haven't seen anyone else mention this detail, so I was hoping it might help to indicate what's going wrong. What exactly would let the game run fine at low resolutions, but trigger an error if it crosses the half-a-megapixel barrier?
