So I made my own model(A roof), and exported it to .dae from Blender.

I've put the .msh and .dae file inside the Static Objects folder. But when I try to open it in the ModelViewer, the viewer crashes : /
No error message, it just crashes.

When I try to import it in the ModelEditor it just shows nothing.

Is there something I missed? :<
Did you put a diffuse texture into the model? Also there shouldn't be a msh file initially, pretty sure it should be created when you first open the model with the viewer. And if the texture is there, make sure it has the same name as your model, assuming it's just the diffuse one.
I've put an image texture in the model, if that's what you mean. I'm kind of new to this area >.<
But do you know what type of texture it was?
There were 2

Both are [image or movie] textures from .jpg pictures

Also, is it a problem that there isn't a .dds file?
The textures have to be .dds or dxt5. Or tga, depends on which texture type. This tutorial pretty much tells you what you need: http://wiki.frictionalgames.com/hpl2/tut...loutsource
So that means that I have to take DXT5 or .dds to save my textures?

Any chance you know a plugin for Gimp for one of those? :>
I dl'd this the other day for Gimp. http://code.google.com/p/gimp-dds/downlo...-2.0.9.zip

Also, if you have Paint.net, .dds is native to that.
I'll try Paint.net then, the installation of the plugin for gimp is intimidating...
i used textures in jpg for my custom models but got a problem if i used 2 textures at one model ... but i dont know what caused the error the 2 textures or i was making something wrong ..
