I played Penumbra and Amnesia and that was very scary.
But there is an other game that was also scary.

Shade: Wrath Of Angels

You have weapons in this game but it has a very deep atmosphere and is full of puzzles. Great game i say!

you should also try Nosferatu: The Wrath of Malachi, Call of Cthulu: Dark Corners of the Earth, and Clive barkers: Undying. all great games. no where near being as atmospheric as Amnesia though.

I know Shade, and it's a really cool game, definitely worth to play.
