Hello,
I have some questions about the next game from swedenWink.

1. Are you already working at the "game" or at the moment still on the new HPL3 engine?

2. It will be not a mainly horror game like all before? It will only have some horror effects?

3. What about the puzzles? Amnesia have not so much puzzles like Penumbra. Does your new game have more and more difficult puzzles?

4. We saw a video that demonstrate some grass vegetation rendering.
Does your new game play outdoor at an island for example or a deep forest?

5. A very interesting question is:
In what time does the game play? Is it in a modern industrial age like Penumbra? Or before 100s of years like Amnesia? Or even in the middle age with epic touch?

6. When did we see first artworks? Amnesia information started spring 2009 - shortly after beginning of development.


Can you answer some questions?
Or is it currently not allowed and also too early?
I'm sure they are going to give you all the details on their unannounced game. You're just that special.
I think Frictional takes every one of as special that they'll tell all of use at once. At once, in time.
1. We have been working on the new game since before Amnesia was released. Having ideas and discussing them is work you know!

2. It will not be a horror centric game, but a game with horror.

3. Don't know really, except that we are not fond of puzzles for puzzles sake.

4. Cow eating simulator as we have disclosed before. It's needed in the industry as the growth of grass have unpredictable behavior here in Sweden.

5. Very secret sorry.

6. Amnesia was started on in September 2007. So us showing stuff is quite some time away if we first showed something in spring 2009 for Amnesia.

What do you expect? They "perfected" the horror genre, time to move on to the next one... Tongue
What about graphic engine? Will have a bit higher resolution textures compared to Amnesia?
