The water lurker is ignoring the organic arms and legs when I toss them into the water. How do I remedy this? Do I need to make the room larger?
Define ignoring. Does it go towards them and then not eat? Does it not move at all? Are you jumping in the water before it actually reaches the flesh?
I'm standing on the platform, where it can't reach me. I throw a piece of gib in the water, the lurker doesn't move. I didn't change the water lurker's player detection height, might have something to do with it?
Hrmm....I honestly don't know if the player detection height would affect it. Does the water monster act normally in all other cases? As in, if you run into the water does it chase you and/or eat your face? Did you place the water lurker entity above the floor? I don't know if that would matter either, but it's worth looking in to.
Yeah, everything else seems to be in order, face eating/chasing. Just ignoring the treats for 'em.
Thats....very very strange. I haven't encountered that bug. I'm all out of ideas. Sorry Sad
You're probably too high up. I looked in the model editor for the parameters; there's a parameter called PlayerDetectionHeight. It's set at 0.6, which isn't very high. Maybe he's standing there in a patrolling mode cause he can't detect you, and so doesn't react to the limbs? Can't say for certain. Try lowering your height and see if it makes it work.
Height doesn't seem to be the issue. I've tried placing down different boxes, jumped on top of them, threw the limbs, nothing. Does having a ramp to a platform matter?
