Age of Empires 2 and expansion
Impossible Creatures
Psychonauts
The 'Worms' games
No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy in HARM's Way
Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Half-Life 2 and expansions
Portal
(I'm currently working on Planescape Torment - it might make the list)
Not my top 10, but I'm skipping my first instinct choices. I can only love EarthBound and Grim Fandango so much in public before it gets awkward.
Zeno Clash
Cryostasis
Rez
Illusion of Gaia
Commandos: Beyond the Call of Duty
Iji
Castle of the Winds
Lords of the Realm 2
Myth II: Soulblighter
Donkey Kong Country 2+3
Simply the best:
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. ( Pure freedom and tons of mods. Shivering Isle being the best ( Official. ) mod. )
Unreal Tournament 2004 with Ballistic Weapons mod. ( Release your inner sadist! >
)
Just a lot of fun:
Prototype. ( One-day fly game, but even more sadistic than Unreal Tournament at times. xD )
Garry's Mod. ( Especially fun to play with friends. )
First Assassin's Creed. ( Great graphics for what it needs, and free-hit-and-run action doesn't get boring quickly. )
Dead Space 2. ( Should I seek help for the fact that I love
making Isaac stomp on corpses for a minute or two just to hear him curse?
)
Good immersion or atmosphere:
Fable: The Lost Chapters. ( Not a groundbreaking game, but I love the style this game has. )
Amnesia. ( No explanation needed. :> )
Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl. ( So dark and cold, and poltergeists in the dark underground is just plain scary. Wish they lipsynced the characters though... )
Bioshock. ( This game is pure art. )
In no specific order:
Baldur's Gate 1
Bioshock ('cause I love art deco)
Might and Magic 8 (I've never spent as much time playing a game as this one)
Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind
Heroes of Might and Magic 3
Penumbra Black Plague
Thief 3 Deadly Shadows
Warcraft 2
The Secret of Monkey Island
Rayman 1
Is this for scary games or just games?
anway, for just games:
Rock Band series (I love this. This got me playing real drums, and I have to say, Im pretty damn good.)
Amnesia: The Dark Descent (Yes its my 2nd favourite game of all time
)
Left 4 Dead 2 (Fun game)
Portal (Awesome Game)
Half Life series (Cool games, frustrating)
Super Meat Boy (MY GOD BOY, THIS IS HAAARD)
Half Life 2 Mods (Nightmare House 2, to be exact!)
Penumbra Series (Awesome series. nice frictional games.. game...)
Call of Duty Series (Yes I have it on PS3, PC Sucks to much to run it
)
Counter Strike: Source (Fun shooter)
Little Big Planet 2 (Fun to screw around on.)
OH NOES.
I HAZ 11 D:

No way, me too! It's quite a good game, brilliant writing. Most of the game is reading but I love how... strange and interesting everything is, and how random things you find can be so amazing.
It's a good reminder that games have the ability to be about the most impossible things, why make another bland modern / ww2 shooter?
