Full Version: Question Regarding Custom Sounds

Well, I have added a custom sound to my custom story, but it doesn't seem to be able to get placed at a certain spot.

The problem is that no matter where I place the script area for the sound, the sound can still only be heard as if it came from the player. How do I fix so it can be heard from a specific area? Do I need to edit the sound file?
Did you set the "Use3D" to "true" in the .snt file?

I am having the same problem. I set the Use3D to true and even experimented with the min and max distances, but it still just plays in both ears no matter which way I'm facing. Do you know of anything else that I could try to make it work? Tongue Thanks!
The sound you are using might be stereo? Mix it to mono and try again.

Ah, that was it! Thanks! Since I record/produce a lot of music, I'm used to creating high quality stereo tracks... At least the music for my custom story will be amazing! Tongue
