Hi,

I'm hoping a mod will sticky this so that anyone asking the question can easily find it without posting or digging around.

I'm not asking this question, I'm answering it for anyone who wants to know:

If you bought Amnesia: The Dark Descent on Steam:

A patch came out recently. Update your game, then start it up like you would before. On the launcher, there is a new button called "Justine." Press this button to play the expansion.

If you bought Amnesia: The Dark Descent at retail:

The Justine expansion pack is now available for all retail users! To get it, you must download the version 1.2 update from Frictional Games' update page, which can be found here. Choose the option that is right for your system, download the package and install it, and then start the game as before. In the lower right corner of the launcher, there will be a new button called "Justine." Press this button to play the expansion.
Perhaps this will help declutter the thread count a little from the "why no justine??" topics and the like. That way at least people will know when it's confirmed for those who bought the retail version.

While we're at the point of trying to condense things in the forum, for those still having trouble with justine in getting 100% or confused about how to get the good choices, here's a concise walkthrough for it. Obviously, there will be spoilers, so don't click if you have no intention of seeing such things.

Thanks for the link, Dominus.

On an unrelated note, I would like to keep this specific thread spoiler free for those of us who haven't gotten to play the expansion yet (like me).
Thanks, can't wait.
Spoiler below!
The Justine Expansion is short, but very rich in story and detail.
Does anyone noticed it? In latest scene, Justine walks by herself, without me touching the keyboard. So, is this a new addition to the engine? Because there wasn't any code like that.
Scripted movement in the original was generally limited to getting up/getting knocked down. So yes, that part is new, as well as automatically moving/controlling objects like closing the door.
There's also that door with the monster behind it in the room with the lightbox. When you go near it, it seems like time slows down... All sounds slow down and your movement too. I don't think it was possible to do that before (well slowing your movement was possible).

Yes.
void MovePlayerForward(float afAmount)
and it needs to be called in a timer that updates 60 times / second.
Thanks for the tip Thomas!
Though, it doesn't work with retail version, which I'm using to built the mod.

Well, I hope after all this Potato thing new maps will be decrypted Smile
