Frictional Games Forum (read-only)

"The sins we hide" is a custom map that has mainly be used to familiarise myself with the HPL Editor. This was also a great chance for me to dive into scripting. The project still needs some much needed polish and in all it's only about 25% completed.

However.. when nearing the 100 hour mark.. it's nice to get a little feedback lol. I'm currently working on this project with possibly two more people (but they have yet to produce anything).

I hope to add custom monsters and animations... if I can get Collada working with Maya :/ (files are not 3DS Max friendly). There is ofcourse a deep storyline that the player gets to influence at the end (multiple endings).

As you can tell. Some of the lighting needs work. I was more focused on getting the core gameplay done first.. I can polish it afterwards when I know it "works"

I agree, the second in particular has lighting you certainly don't see often in the world of amnesia. 100 hours and it's only 25% done? That's dedication... best of luck with it.

OMFG I just found out that you can change the editor resolution....... all those hours with such a small display! lol

hahaha i found out that a few weeks ago too lol my level editor was way larger then my pc screen ^-^

although i don't know how to change that in the other editors :/
