I cannot understand how to shift the wooden blank blocking the door to the auxiliary shaft. Help please!

i shifted de wooden plank, but the door doesnt want to get open. i got the key and the fuel already and searched in any corner for some other things i may forgot. but i cant find anything =/
so how do i get to the auxiliary shaft?
