Could've sworn I searched the Archives top to bottom, but I guess I'll go look again.
Alright after watching Youtube videos I figured out what the problem is. There's a door in the Archives that when you try to open it, it's supposed to trigger an event where a monster starts to bust through the door. For whatever reason, that monster never appears for me, thus the door remains permanently locked.

I think i made a LP till chapter 2 or something and i would love to finish it BUT im wondering is there a way to get a save file to where chapter 3(?) starts?
Becouse im being a lazy ass and i dont wanna play it all over again...becouse i would pee my pants again and so on.

Just download the full version from ModDB, then select continue from the custom story screen. It will start you off in the Atrum Andron, which won't take you that long to re-play since you know the code. It's not too far off from the start of chapter 3, and it will let you keep all of your items.
