hello, I tested on canyourunit and it passed well. but when I run the game it is 3 fps. so I couldnt play, my all video settings are low, no shadows. but why its like that.

1 GB ram
512 Mb vide card , Nvidia 7100 GS

I need your help, thank you ^^
Be more specific?.. whats your cpu and does your video card support opengl correctly.? have you updated your drivers and tried again? most problems are caused by old drivers or the fact that the cpu or graphics card suck ;L yours is better than mine but i run it on like 14-15 fps..except my floor moves up and down xD
Ocean112, first thank you for help.
my video card support opengl correctly, I can run games like doom3 (opengl game) and penumbra series too. I updated last Nvidia driver yesterday. and service pack 3, everything is ok. but can't play good in Amnesia, what problem can be ?.. thanks again
Perhaps the video card just isn't powerful enough? But if it runs penumbra/doom3 (on low?) it should work afaik? Have you patched amnesia to 1.01?

video card is powerfull enough to can run doom3 penumbra with high fps. and I didnt patched amnesia, should I try it ? thnx
Worth trying the patch, it really can't hurt.
but it really hurted after opening game and to see 3 fps with patch again. plesae someone help, I can't play Amnesia Sad((.. helppp
Lower the graphics on the nvidia control panel also. It doesn't count for much if you have the game settings low but the resident settings on high, which by default, most are.

Should be able to find it in control panel. then down the left panel, adjust 3D settings, and tweak those. I'm just going by memery because I used to own a similar card, so I might be wrong on a few things, google will fill the blanks that I may have missed.
I thank you for helping friend, but I had tried it. in Nvidia control panel, it was choosen Performance, but no quality. and still 3 fps Sad. something is wrong, but what ?
I know you hate to hear it, but I think it might be time for an upgrade. The video card you have is about 6 years old. Not only that, but it's an entry level version of the card, which means it wasn't even meant for gaming in the first place, especially half a decade into the future.

Also, you didn't list your processor.

I think if you have lowered and disabled most of the options and you still can't get it to run smoothly, you might be out of luck. Just because it runs on OpenGL doesn't mean it will run on any machine, it's a new game and you're not going to be able to play with that PC forever Tongue

I know it sucks to hear it, but I was in the same boat. Tweaking and lowering until it was playable. I finally broke down and saved up enough for a decent computer and I'm glad I did. Not only are games playable, they also don't look like mushroom soup mixed with vomit.

For what it's worth, I think it's rude to assume someone else's financial situation and I apologize if I do offend by suggesting an upgrade, but I used to have that card in this old computer I had. It's the reason I upgraded XD
