Ok so I set up a dev environment according to the wiki, however whenever I start up the game whether its from the Launcher or the actual game exe, there is no menu just Daniels intro monologue, and the game begins as normal. Can anyone help me get the menu back?

Sure, open the .cfg you edited to create the dev environment, then simply put ShowMainMenu= True

Ah thanks, i properly should of known that but with that type of thing i'm terrible! XD
