They've released new drivers with updated OpenGL support. The previous driver update would run the game but only show a black screen during gameplay, but when I tried it after getting these new drivers I was able to see backgrounds and everything! I'm still not sure if it's enough to make it playable or if there are any problems later on in the game, but I though I'd let you guys know anyway. Smile
Thats great provide a link ect and this could be used for future purposes for intel users
The game is indeed playable to the end with the new drivers.

I don't tend to play Amnesia on my laptop (no reason to do so when I have a good desktop) but I've been able to run the game fine. Framerate is terrible in places like the storage/choir, though.
:O

This will make a lot of people happy if the hear about it.
That is indeed very nice, but it seems the update is for some of the cards only... I have a Mobile IntelĀ® 4 Series Express Chipset Family card and there are no new updates for it, so far :/

I really hope the update for the other cards comes out soon ><
Wow, Intel finally got their heads out of their asses and updated the drivers? Incredible!
I have this issue, as seen here http://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thread-7736.html

But how do I get the updated drivers? Windows Update says nothing.

If you have a link I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Just look for 'media accelerator driver', sort results by date and download the most recent update.
I found a few slight issues.

1. The Level Editor was working with the last driver, but it doesn't seem to want to work with the current update. I'm not sure why it would work with the last update, seeing as the game wouldn't show the maps properly. Now I can't seem to get it up and running.

2. Framerate is nearly unplayable in some bits. You'll probably want to close out all other open programs/ turn off Windows Aero to help give a few more FPS. I had Firefox open while playing, and I have a lot of tabs open (>45).

None of them seem to work with my computer, they all say like minimum requirements not met or driver incompatible even though I have the right processor -_-
