Haha yeah, the unexpected misfire Big Grin
xD God i would love to see a lets play of that! xDDD
If you dont want the enemies in, Just do this:
Close the game.
Think: Im not going to play this.

Really. Play the real game or dont play it at all.

This game is only 25% based on actually seeing the enemy, its a psychological thing

What about the Brute in the Dungeon? The first time I played it, my heart almost exploded before I entered the Crypt.

I couldn't agree more with that!

Nice!!!Big Grin
A big thanks to clord for the help, that was nice of you.

And to the rest of you, just bugger off with the respect for the devs thing, the whole respect thing for me is that I buy their software, actually enjoy playing it, but am also allowed to play it on my own premises. They've created the most unnerving, frightening and immersive game I've ever played, and if I have to worry about a monster running around inthere too I just can't handle it, then I can't enjoy the software, and then I can't respect the devs, the universe they've created, and enjoy their immersive atmosphere.

Besides, if I want to cheat in a game, why would it be a problem to anyone else ? I'm not doing anything to ruin the way you enjoy YOUR game, I'm actually trying to improve my own gamingpleasure so I can enjoy the software to it's fullest
I completely understand lars, I felt terrible playing Penumbra and thought constantly of how much better it would be without monsters - then I played Requiem, and couldn't help but think something was completely lacking without the monsters...almost to the point that it was disappointing.

Than I played Amnesia, and had to take full week breaks at some points, and again wished that the monsters weren't included. Now that I have finished the game, I realized how foolish I had been - the game would not be the same without them, and now I am going to brave replaying it to see some of the things I have apparently missed.

Everyone has their own level of toleration for fear, and I for one respect that. But, unfortunately you will be missing some of the greatest elements of the game.

Also, the fact that you can't handle the monsters should be a huge compliment to the devs, as they have more that matched your expectations for the game - and the level of fright not many games and claim.

Bravo to the Frictional Games staff.
Thx Maple. You are right. This topic should be closed now, nothing else to offer but future spam...

When game has loaded. Alt + Tab and rename the Suitor related folder/directory (\entities\ptest\enemy_suitor).

(1) why are you helping him?

(2) does this even work?

I'm against cheating in Multi Player environment but this game is Single Player game.
I suppose, but you're using it in a way that is counter to it's intended use. Sure, you can rub peanut butter all over your body, it's your peanut butter. I still think you should have put it in a sandwich instead of ruining perfectly good food.
