Well, mine is a steam version, but it hasn't affected people in the past. My advice is to delete the GuestRoom files, which I apparently forgot to delete myself (which would explain why the update was significantly larger than the other, which I couldn't figure out why until now). Then see if it works, there is no reason it should be trying to load it though, as I also updated the foyer to go to GuestArea, not GuestRoom.
Good news. The guest room(area) is working now.

However, the Storage is not.

Nope, this doesn't change anything for me, still receiving the same error message about an error in Guestroom.hps

Are you sure you deleted every 'guestroom' file in the ch3 folder?
I double checked the foyer, it is supposed to go to GuestArea, not guestroom. if it is still going to the GuestRoom, then the foyer has not updated correctly on your map. Perhaps you are loading a save file that was created after the first time loading the foyer map?
As Anxt points out: Load a save file before you transition to the foyer, better yet, load before transition to Chapter 3. This worked for me and resolved the GuestArea issue.

However, still getting black box when entering Storage.
I really wish I knew what was causing it. I don't get that error, but it seems I am the only one that doesn't. Can anyone open the file in the level editor? Just curious, I don't want anyone to spoil anything for themselves, but if the editor is crashing too then I MAY be able to fix the problem.
It worked for me even though the save file I loaded was the same as when my game was crashing before.

And I tried opening the Storage map on the level editor and it didn't crash for me (even though it still does ingame).
Tell me exactly what the black box error is, and maybe I can figure out why it doesn't like working. I know Dark Knight posted it earlier, but a second post about it would confirm it is the same problem for everyone, and help me identify the issue.
