Hey, I'm a HUGE Frictional Games fan, by far my favorite game company, Amnesia is my favorite game of all time, and the Penumbra series is in my top 5. Cannot wait to hear about the new game, and I've read a lot about the hints that you're giving, but i'm just so anxious i wanted to clarify a few things.
The main thing i wanted to ask about was the fact that you stated it's going to not be horror centric, but have horror. Does this mean it will be similar to the Penumbra series in that aspect? Do you think the atmosphere will be more like Amnesia or Penumbra, in terms of horror? Because I've honestly been hoping for a great new horror game to play (my favorite genre of games), but I'd still be just as happy with any game you guys make, even if it was a cow eating grass simulator. haha
also you said something about it having less puzzles.. i really hope that's true.. i mean puzzles are great but i'm dumb and usually in the penumbra games i'd get stuck on one part for hours and hours until finally i had to look at a walkthrough...
not gonna ask any more, answer these if you wish, i mean i don't want to force info out of you, i'm just a big fan and i'm curious.

Just be patient, they'll give us answers when they have more to reveal to us

Would be nice to know when we can expect a release date though!
Work on Amnesia started while Penumbra Requiem was being developed, it was in 2008 and Amnesia was released in 2010, so expect some news about the next game next year.

Let Frictional Games do their job. If you love Amnesia to much try the customs stories. They are really engaging.

companies in general dislike giving release dates, cause if they don't meet those dates, it is met with much bitching
I fondly remember the homepage with the encrypted text. I hope Frictional does something similar in preparation for their new game.

I'd rather know if they actually working on something than a release date.
I'd rather let them take their time to create something they think it's worth releasing than having them pressured by dates.

I'd also let them enjoy the sun while summer lasts. They deserve it. Wink
