Amnesia.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in module Amnesia.exe at 001B:00000000
then the stack trace says:

I looked at every other page that seemed to relate to my problem, but all of them either didnt come close or were too old/new for my computer, i really want to play this game badly, so please help me out, i will give any other needed information needed.
1) What's your operating system?
2) What graphics card do you have?
3) Attach us the file HPL.log found under Documents\Amnesia\Main folder.
here is the hpl.log but im not sure how to get the info on the other two questions, what i do know is that this computer has a Amd Athlon 64 processor 3700+
Your graphic card cannot run the game because it is very old and with outdated drivers. Moreover, it is using OpenGL 1.4 when the game requires at least 2.1

well, I cant't really recommend something because of the different usage each user does. You should buy one with an Nvidia or AMD video card with 512MB of graphics memory and you'll be just fine for the game.

Don't go for any card boy ask the people who work there if its any good for the game first of all :O the memory is simply the least of your problems if you cant play the game
so take amnesia with you when you buy a new lappy and show them the game and ask them if theres a specific laptop they recommend for you to use
