Frictional Games Forum (read-only)

Hey there. There is nothing that I would like to do more than create a custom story and release it to my fellow amnesia fans but I am getting an error in BlackBox every time I place a new object that reads,

"LevelEditor.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in module nvoglnt.dll at 001B:6959D440"

Please tell me the cause of this. I would be very grateful and I can continue my work without complications.

P.S. I do have the Steam version, if it is relevant.

I am using Window XP

My graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT

I am not sure if the map editor is more demanding when it comes to hardware than the game itself, but I have beaten amnesia on the highest graphics without a problem. (No lag or errors)

This truly puzzles me... Does anyone have an idea?
